What is intercessory prayer according to the Bible? Ask the majority of those in attendance in church what it means to intercede and you will hear one or more of the following answers: "Standing in the gap", "When you pray for someone else" and sometimes even someone will say, "Travail—crying and moaning in the spirit."
 While you will learn that all of these answers are correct, there is much, much more to this ministry of intercessory prayer.
