This elegant New York Beauty quilt makes a lovely wall-hanging, table topper, or Christmas tree skirt. The foundation pieced spikes are a great way to use up little scraps.

Materials Required: (115 cm - 45" wide)
.75 m (3/4 yard) ecru
1.8 m (2 yards) assorted red prints
2 m (2-1/4 yards) assorted green prints*
.5 m (1/2 yard) red for border
.5m (1/2 yard) green for border
.5m (1/2 yard) of fabric for binding
50” square backing
50” square batting
Sewing and quilting threads to match
*If using scraps for spikes, each piece needs to measure at least 3" x 4"; there are 60 spikes.
