A much-needed insight into making karate more accessible for women!

As a martial artist practising and teaching for many years, I found Mary Steven’s insights fresh, well-presented, and thought-provoking. A very worthwhile course for teachers and students

Highly recommend

This course has made me more mindful on how to approach coaching females in the dojo. Although i already have experience in teaching males and females the course made me aware of things I perhaps overlooked in the past.
Thank you.

Highly recommended

This course is a valuable reminder for male instructors to be aware of their blind spots. No matter how good your intentions, as a male instructor you simply can not know exactly how your female students experience the classes, This course gives you great considerations and encourages to keep working on open and honest dialogue.
What I found especially refreshing was the call for flexibility and to not let pseudo-traditional habits dictate what to do in the dojo. Because indeed, the world will keep turning, even if we're wearing black gi's.

Excellent

An engrossing look at issues, some of which I was aware of but others I wasn't, very useful overall.
