DESCRIPTION

Mundo Novo is a cozy top-down sweater featuring a charming coffee-bean colorwork motif on the round yoke. Worked in the round, the sweater features a twisted-rib neckline, then progresses seamlessly down to the hem, allowing for customization of length and fit along the way.

The body of the sweater is worked in stockinette stitch, providing a smooth canvas for the colorwork design on the yoke. The coffee-inspired motif is done in stranded colorwork with two contrasting colors. Short rows placed at the bottom of the yoke create a well-fitting, round neckline. Finished with more colorwork and twisted ribbing on the cuffs and hem, Mundo Novo is the perfect sweater for cozying up with a cup of latte on chilly mornings or for adding an extra caffeine punch to your everyday wardrobe.

Designed for intermediate to advanced knitters, Mundo Novo comes in 10 sizes from XS to 6X. Instructions are provided for optional bust and waist shaping but the body can also be knit straight, omitting all shaping.

The pattern is written with both metric and US terminology. Only charted instructions are given for the colorwork patterns.
