Graphing Inequalities Riddle Activity | Number Line Practice
Start number line inequality practice with this Graphing Inequalities on a Number Line Riddle Activity. Students graph inequalities with integer values from -9 through 9, then use their answers to solve the riddle.
This resource gives students practice reading inequalities in different formats. Some problems show the variable before the inequality symbol, while others show the variable after the inequality symbol. Students also match equivalent inequalities on the riddle answer key, such as x < -4 and -4 > x, helping them think carefully about the direction of the inequality symbol.
The riddle format adds a self-checking component while students practice graphing inequalities, interpreting symbols, and recognizing equivalent inequality statements.
What’s Included:
• 20 graphing inequality problems
• Integer values from -9 through 9
• Inequalities with the variable before and after the symbol
• Riddle answer sheet
• Completed answer key
