This is ribbon under-bust corset pattern based on an early twentieth century design with a beautiful curve to accentuate your waist. Sizes (UK) 8 -22 (US 4 - 18). INCLUDES A 25 PAGE DOCUMENT OF GENERAL CORSET CONSTRUCTION NOTES!
This pattern also features in my pattern collection '200 years of corset design reimagined' - a cost-effective way of procuring lots of different inspiring designs from 1715-1915.
Note – no lacing gap is factored into this pattern. The pattern uses darts at the mid panel to create extra shaping - it is not as simple as a ribbon-wraparound, although the darts can be omitted if less shaping is required. Some sewing experience is essential.
The corset length measures 27cm at the centre front and 36cm at the back.
This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant PDF download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box.
It is recommended that you make a toile to check the fit of the pattern – adjust and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset.
Please take a look at my website www.corsetsbycaroline.co.uk where I have lots of information about corset making and where it is more cost-effective to buy this design (non EU countries only sorry).
There are no restrictions on the use of this pattern - use to your heart's content. I simply ask that you don't pass on the file or use it to, say, profit from a line of ready-to-wear corsets.
