The Kingdom of Ahti

The Kingdom of Ahti sock pattern was originally named 'Ahdin valtakunta' in the Finnish sock book 'Tuhansien villasukkien maa'. Please note that the pattern is available for purchase only in English here on Payhip.


Pattern features:

• designed for fingering weight (approximately 400-420 m / 100 g) yarns: 50-60 grams of MC and 40-50 grams of CC
• knitted toe-up
• instructions written for magic loop but dpns can be used as well
• instructions written in metric and US terminology
• three sizes: small (60 sts), medium (70 sts) and large (80 sts)
• eye of partridge toe and wide heel turn
• charts but no written instructions for the stranded colourwork
