The Shifted Buffalo Headbands are a great introduction to Woven Knitting. If you are new to both Fission Knitting and Woven Knitting, this pattern is recommended before knitting the reversible Ten Squared Headband.
Yarn: 2 colours of fingering weight yarn
Yarn Usage: 100 yd/ 90 m of each colour
Needles: 4.5mm/ US#7 circular or dpn
Finished Size: 3.5-4 in/ 9-10 cm in width; adjustable length
Other: hair elastic
Skills required: Comfortable with cables
