Cat's Game Coasters
Use Code: Coasters for 25% off this pattern through November 22
The Cat’s Game Coasters are the ultimate low time and yarn investment project. Make a set of 9 for a playable game of Tic Tac Toe that doubles as a stylish stack of living room decor! Or whip up a set of 4—they make the perfect holiday gift! Best of all, you’ll be learning one-pass Woven Knitting with complete tutorial support for every single row and cable.
The coasters are worked holding 2 fingering-weight yarns together. The navy/red ones are knitted in Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift and felted; they provide a fantastic heat, cold, and moisture barrier for your drinks. Alternatively, use a superwash yarn, such as Malabrigo Sock, for easy-care coasters in every room of the house.
Do you have a couple of mini-skeins or some 10g/40-yard bits of scrap yarn? I’m guessing you do! Grab any two colors and cast on a coaster—you will be surprised at how quickly this becomes your new favorite mindless, repetitive knit.
