Beveled Cowl
The Beveled Cowl features four colours of cables woven together, forming a bold, graphic motif.
This cowl is surprisingly squishy and warm despite being worked in fingering weight yarn. The project is worked entirely with a marl, 2 yarns held together. You will simultaneously create a garter stitch layer and a layer of interwoven cables.
The motif magically emerges as you repeat the small cable pattern. The colourwork design is established in the setup rounds and is worked without bobbins or floats.

Skills: This is an advanced project that combines skills from other techniques. Experience with Two-Colour Two-Pass Woven Knitting is recommended. Experience using a marl to create single-coloured cables, used in Fission Knitting or One-Pass Woven Knitting, is also helpful. See recommended introductory patterns.
