WWII France

This cinematic map is set in the Summer of 1944 in rural France during the Second World War, depicting an Allied push into German occupied France. The map mildly slopes upwards with a river winding through a mix of dense woodland and open fields over hilly terrain in the French countryside. The map features several detailed points of interest littered with downed aircraft and destroyed armour, road checkpoints, a town which offers a mix of compact and open urban combat and an open cornfield with a defensive barn position nearby. The map is shadowed by overhead Spitfires, Messerschmitts and stationary C-47 positions allowing a deployment point for airborne infantry.
