Migration Readiness Kit
Migration Readiness Kit
USD 39 · One-time purchase
Turn one planned data migration into a scoped inventory, a set of meaningful checks and a cutover decision with a recovery path.
Built for independent data consultants and small data teams. Organize the objects you are moving, the dependencies between them, the evidence needed to compare source and target, and the time you must preserve for reversal.
Work through six connected planning areas
• Inventory with owners, waves, data classification and explicit next actions.
• Dependencies tied to stable asset IDs and supporting evidence.
• Reconciliation with source/target values, units and visible absolute tolerances.
• A serial cutover schedule with cumulative time offsets.
• Rollback triggers, action owners, rehearsal evidence and state-handling notes.
• A summary and human decision record that keep unresolved work visible.
The offline guide includes a complete fictional reporting migration: matching financial totals still hide three missing orders, and one unrehearsed recovery step keeps the decision on HOLD. Three short lessons and a printable decision worksheet help you understand the result.
Requirements and fit
You supply your project metadata, measured results and authorized evidence. The worksheet and guide open in a modern browser. The workbooks require Microsoft Excel for Windows; verification used Excel version 16.0. Each purchase includes a clean template and a separate synthetic worked example. Other spreadsheet applications have not been verified. Prepared tables support 40 input rows each.
Know the limits
This is a reusable planning package. It does not connect to databases, execute a migration, calculate a universal readiness score or approve a production release. All included case data is synthetic.
Will it migrate my data?
No. It helps you define the scope, tests, timing and decision record for a migration your team performs.
Can I use it for client projects?
The included license allows internal work and completed client deliverables, with limits on reselling the reusable kit. Review the published license before purchase.
What does PASS mean?
Only that one entered numerical comparison falls within its specified tolerance. Scope completeness and production approval remain human responsibilities.
License, support and refunds
Use the delivered version for your own internal work and client engagements under the included license. Reuse and adapt the materials; do not resell or distribute the reusable package. Access and documented-workflow support is included. Request a refund within 14 calendar days through the seller contact on your receipt. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable. The complete license, support scope and refund policy are included in customer-terms.html.
