VR NQR Goods Wagons + NBH Carriages Bundle

This rollingstock pack includes both the "VR NBH Passenger Carriages" pack, and the "VR NQR Goods Wagons" pack.

VR NBH PASSENGER CARRIAGES

Built by the Victorian Railways in the 1910s, the NBH second class excursion carriages were 2ft 6in narrow gauge 'holiday' passenger carriages, for the four Victorian Railways narrow gauge lines, Wangaratta to Whitfield, Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook, Colac to Beech Forest and Crowes, and More to Walhalla.

The passenger carriages were a very basic design, featuring wooden construction, and open 'cattle truck' like windows on both sides of the carriages.

The NBH carriages have been faithfully recreated for Trainz, in a simple Victorian Railways red livey, with white lined numbering.

The models feature:

- Accurately represented interior

- Accurate automatic numbering, with correct two-tone font.

- Bogies for 2ft, and 2ft 6in gauges.

- Designs based on accurate and original drawings and plans.

- PBR texturing on all surfaces.

- Suitable wood-like surface reflections on all painted wooden surfaces on the carriage, with bump maps to show realistic wood panels, on the sides of the vehicles, accurately representing the panneling on the real-world wooden cars.

- Realistic levels of bump and shine on the roof, to realistically represent the material.
Translucent window textures, with special bump and shine maps, to yeild a shiny, glass like surface, with the protoypical dimples and wobbles of the material, while maintaining glass like transparency.

- Baked textures, meaning even the lowest end computer can run a fairly realistic looking model, with some darker and lighter areas, hinting at shade, without having full shaders on.

These carriages will look at home among any narrow gauge railway yard, our out on the mainline behind your own passenger train!

VR NQR GOODS WAGONS

Built by the Victorian Railways, the NQR wagons were a versatile constant of the Victorian Railways narrow gauge networks, proving useful in carrying timber, minerals, and even locomotive parts for the four Victorian Railways narrow gauge lines, Wangaratta to Whitfield, Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook, Colac to Beech Forest and Crowes, and Moe to Walhalla.

The NQR carriages have been faithfully recreated for Trainz, in a Victorian Railways Red-Orange livery, with white numbering and traced side text, in these variations:

- Empty NQR Wagon

- Sideless NQR Wagon with Garratt boiler onboard

- Sideless NQR Wagon with NGG16 drive bogie onboard

...for both 2ft and 2ft 6in gauges.

The models feature:

- Accurate automatic numbering, with correct font.

- Bogies for 2ft, and 2ft 6in gauges.

- Designs based on accurate and original drawings and plans.

- PBR texturing on all surfaces

- Suitable metal-like surface reflections on all painted metal surfaces on the wagon, with bump maps to show realistic bumps and undulations, accurately representing the panneling on the real-world steel cars.

- Realistic levels of bump and shine on both the inside, outside, and vehicle load to realistically represent the material.

- Baked textures, meaning even the lowest end computer can run a fairly realistic looking model, with some darker and lighter areas, hinting at shade, without having full shaders on.

These carriages will look at home among any narrow gauge railway yard, our out on the mainline behind your own passenger train!
