This jazzy little trumpet quartet is one of about half a dozen I began writing during the infamous Covid lockdowns of 2020. The reason I focused on completing this one before any of the others was because working on this composition brought me joy. It helped me to focus on God's goodness during a time when government restrictions were destroying our industry. And in fact, as of now (11/14/20), it doesn't look like the government has any plans to release their deathgrip on our economy. 

So yes, it has been nice spending some of that time working on a piece that helps me focus on something good while there were so many bad things that could have had my attention.
