This seven session psycho-educational programme is designed to help you understand and relate differently to situational anxiety, emotional reactivity, and internal pressure.

Across seven structured sessions you will learn how anxiety is shaped by internal Self-States, which triggers the protective Defender responses, and then along comes your Villain Voice — the internal narrative that reinforces threat and self-criticism. Working together they all create an inner world that destabilises the world you are trying to navigate.

Rather than focusing on symptom removal, the programme teaches you how to recognise, slow, and reflect on reactive patterns, creating space for breathing, consideration and making informed decisions about what you want to do next - rather than a feeling of panicked pressure.

Each session is supported by guided reflective practices and embedding meditations, designed to help you integrate the material gradually over time.

The programme is intentionally paced to take a minimum of seven weeks, allowing insight to settle rather than be rushed.

You will also learn how to replace those anxiety triggering SHOULDS (I should be better. I should be able to do this etc.) with COULDS ( maybe I could do it this way instead. I could choose to ignore that comment. etc)

The SCAN intervention will help you choose what you could do rather than what you feel should - thereby reducing internal pressure and self-judgement through the SCAN framework.

The course includes guided audio content, written guides, reflective prompts, and support materials, and is designed by an experienced professional therapist, drawing on well-established psychological concepts and proven reflective tools. This is not therapy, but a structured learning experience that supports understanding, awareness, and choice.
