Lesson 87 - Who Am I and the Promise of Presence
When God tells 80-year-old Moses to go back to Egypt and confront Pharaoh, Moses immediately shrinks back
with his very first objection in Exodus 3:11: "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of
Israel out of Egypt?" Notice how God answers him in verse 12! God does not give Moses a pep talk about how
smart, strong, or talented Moses is. Instead, God answers Moses's "Who am I?" with a rock-solid promise: "I
will be with you!" Then God gives him a sign: when Moses brings the people out, they will worship God right
back on this very mountain. Today we explore how God's presence overcomes our fear, the physics of shadows,
brain co-regulation, and mountain navigation!
