THE 30 DAY WELLNESS CHALLENGE
A gentle approach to whole-body health for Christian moms
A gentle approach to whole-body health for Christian moms
I want to help you on this journey of whole-body health and growing closer in your relationship with the Lord. This isn’t a challenge to make you feel guilty or less than. This is an opportunity to become a stronger and healthier mother and Christian.
It’s so important to prioritize our whole body health: spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically.
In the last 20 years of mothering I’ve seen mother after mother (myself included) get lost in it all, discouraged, depressed, feel unrecognizable to who we once were, with physically inflamed and uncomfortable bodies. We can prioritize everyone else while neglecting ourselves. We serve without filling up first. We hide from showing people who God really made us to be because we aren’t even sure who we are anymore. We can become isolated, beat down, struggle with mom-guilt and fall into the comparison trap that leads to jealousy and idolatry.
But there is a better way.
And I want to challenge you to step into your life and find health, strength and joy in your mind, body and spirit.
The better we take care of our whole-body health, the better we take care of our family. It all impacts each other.
My dad died at 45.
He missed all the big moments... graduations, weddings, grandchildren, adult children.
He didn’t have to die the way he did. It was incredibly traumatizing to experience as a child. One of my greatest prayers and goals in life is to be a major part of the lives of my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I pray I’m able to see as many future generations as possible. And not just to be alive but to be strong and full of life and health so that I can invest into them, not be a burden on them due to poor health.
That starts now. That starts in the daily habits today that are repeated over and over.
Time in God’s Word.
This isn’t seeing our bodies as an idol to be worshipped but as a temple of the Lord to take care of and steward well in order to carry out the missions and callings He has placed on our lives.
We can’t keep using our children or our busy season as an excuse to treat our bodies like trash by not exercising, eating poorly and not sleeping well. It’s BECAUSE we have children and busy seasons that we are choosing health right now. Our children aren’t the excuse but the reason we will fight for health and healing from the inside out.
As women and mothers, we set the example for our children on how to be healthy, how to prioritize exercise, time in God’s Word and eating food that fuels our bodies not inflames our bodies. They are watching what we do, not just what we say. We go first. We show them how to walk through trials with the peace of God because we are women of the Word, full of the Holy Spirit, walking daily with Jesus. And to be that woman, it takes us prioritizing what is most important and intentionally living it out everyday.
Daily reading /listening to the Bible
Strategic supplements for whole body health
Walking/Movement daily
I’m my personal experience, all three of these areas need to be working properly together to be at our best. When one is off, it impacts the rest. When we are intentional about all three, not only does it bless us as mothers but it pours out and blesses our families and those around us.
As we enter into the most SPECIAL TIME OF YEAR, let’s invest in our health mentally, physically, and spiritually to feel our very best so that we can giveour very best to our family.
If you are still on the fence about joining this challenge then I want to give you a gentle push.
YOUR CHILDREN + HUSBAND NEED YOU HEALTHY. The more health and wellness of mind, body, spirit you have, the more you will bless your family. What you do will overflow to them. YOU taking care of YOU is part of how you take care of your family. It’s putting that oxygen mask on yourself first in an emergency situation so you can help them. Your family needs you to be strong and able to do everything God has called you to do and that means you can’t keep avoiding your physical and internal health. Think about your grandchildren and great grandchildren. They need you to be strong and vibrant, full of Jesus and pouring into their precious hearts too. Do this for the future generations!
I challenge you to LISTEN to the Bible every morning and night. Turn it on while doing the laundry, making dinner, picking up toys, putting on make up. You can multitask.
I challenge you to MOVE your body even if it is for only a few minutes. The challenge is to hit 5,000 steps or walk for 40 minuets. You can spread this throughout the day.
I challenge you to take your health seriously and be mindful of what you are putting in your body. We want to be strengthened from the inside out! Using the recommended Young Living products as well as drinking water and cutting out inflammatory foods will make a difference in your health!
The 30 Day Challenge is $30!
Included is the information about how do this challenge, what the three deficiencies women face, FREE downloadable checklist and trackers to help you accomplish this challenge.

This is self paced challenge. I encourage you to read or listen to the Bible everyday, move your body, and flood your body with nutrients. I am a busy mama of 6 children and I know how hard it is to have time set aside for yourself. That is why this challenge is so important to me. As mamas, we need to take care or our bodies so we can take care of our family.

A frequently asked question I get is: “Where do you start in the Bible?” Here are a few books I recommend to get you started (or just continue reading where you are now). I recommend reading through a whole book and not just picking a random chapter. That way you can be consistent in reading a book and following a central story to get a full picture of what you are reading.
I personally use the ESV Bible. For listening to the Bible on audio, I use the YouVersion App (which is FREE) where you can read and listen to any Bible translation.
