Developer Failure Diagrams — eight editable technical scenarios
Explain software failure paths with original illustrations, captions and explicit technical boundaries. A small asset pack for developer writers and trainers preparing documentation or lessons.
Eight scenarios: duplicate webhook delivery, out-of-order events, durable handoff before acknowledgment, transactional outbox, dead-letter review, quoted CSV newlines, composite export keys and related-fixture tokens. Each includes a failure lane, a reviewable alternative, a caption, accessible description and assumptions.
The full ZIP contains 30 files: 16 light/dark SVGs, editable JSON definitions, dependency-free Node renderer and 12 regression checks, local HTML/CSS gallery, caption library, original synthetic CSV/JSON fixtures, README, license and changelog. Native SVG text; no external fonts, vendor icons, remote requests, accounts or paid API.
Viewing included SVG/gallery files needs a modern browser. Optional source generation needs Node.js 22+ and a text editor. The layout supports four short steps per lane, not arbitrary graphs. Browser display is the tested target; Office, Inkscape, slides, print and every viewer/font combination are not promised. Direct file:// browser behavior has not been verified. No PowerPoint file is included.
These are explanatory assets, not executable webhook handlers, queues, database transactions, CSV comparators or anonymization tools. Local atomicity does not cover remote side effects. Reconciliation and redrive need your own policies. Selected tokens do not remove all private data. Every fixture is synthetic.

The free sample contains six SVGs for duplicate delivery, durable handoff and quoted CSV newline, matching definitions, renderer, captions and one CSV fixture. The full pack adds five scenarios and additional fixtures. Free Mermaid, draw.io and D2 are strong alternatives; this is a convenience purchase for original prepared explanations, not a novel diagram engine. No buyer reviews, revenue, demand or conversion improvement is claimed.
License permits adaptation and embedding in your own personal or commercial documentation, articles and teaching materials. It prohibits reselling or redistributing the complete pack or a substantial standalone collection as a competing asset product. Read the included terms before reuse.
Proposed price: $7 USD. This experimental diagram pack is available through Payhip. Actual paid processing and buyer demand remain unverified. Built by Shruti. Version 0.1.0.
