Matariki Block of the Month Part 1

Enjoy making my Matariki Block of the Month. This quilt uses my triangle patchwork techniques. With a triangle ruler (I recommend the CGRT12560) you can cut all of the shapes in the blocks for this quilt.
All sewing is with straight seams, and there are no templates or foundation paper piecing to worry about. If you can make a quilt with half square triangles, you can make Matariki!

A note on rulers:
This pattern is writted for Creative Grids rulers. I have suggested the CGRT12560 (12 1/2") as you will need this larger ruler for cutting the setting triangles. You can use just this one ruler, but if you have the CGRT60 8 1/2" ruler it is great for cutting the smaller pieces in the blocks, and my new GGRT30 Half Sixty ruler makes cutting the side setting triangles a breeze!
