Make a tree full of heirloom-looking ornaments with paper, scissors and a quiet evening. Each design pairs a hand-coloured 19th-century botanical plate (holly, mistletoe, poinsettia, rowan, fir, spruce, juniper, orange and clove) with ornate gold borders, damask patterns and layered paper textures. They look rich on the tree, and nobody will guess they came off a home printer.

What's inside (18 pages, US Letter + A4):

5 slot-together 3D stars: Evergreen Holly, Ivory Poinsettia, Oxblood Mistletoe, Midnight Orange & Clove, Ivory Rowan Berry. Each comes in two sizes.

4 slot-together 3D trees: Silver Fir, Spruce & Gold, Oxblood Holly, Juniper Lattice. Each comes in large and small sizes.

2 folded botanical balls (evergreen and oxblood): 20 circles fold into a 4½ in ball. Print at 70% for a smaller one.

An illustrated how-to page and step-by-step diagrams for each shape

Clear cut, fold and slit lines, plus hanging-hole marks

How it works: print at Actual size / 100% on cardstock (65–110 lb / 176–300 gsm works best). Cut on the solid lines, slit on the red lines, slot the two halves together, and add ribbon or baker's twine. A star takes about 10 minutes. They also make good gift toppers, garland and place-card décor.
