Load your broker's trade export (CSV) and write down your own rules: risk per trade, trades a day, daily loss limit, losing streak, time-outs after a loss, stop required, trading hours.

Trade Journal Coach works out your statistics in code on your own computer: win rate, expectancy and profit factor after fees; drawdown and losing streaks; results by weekday, hour and setup; holding times and fee share. It then flags every time you broke one of your own rules. Claude Opus 5.5 writes a coaching review of your process: the rules you break most, the patterns behind them, habits to try, and questions to reflect on.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

- Your trade file stays on your computer. Only the app's own figures, the rule breaks, your rules and your notes are sent to Anthropic, and you can see exactly what will be sent before anything goes.

- Every number in the review is checked in code against the app's own figures, and the result of that check is shown to you.

- It never tells you what to buy or sell. If the review ever drifts into advice, forecasts or promises, the app catches it and asks for a rewrite.

- The cost is shown before every run, and you set a limit. In our own test on the made-up sample, a run cost about 13 cents on our own Anthropic account.

- A Word report and an Excel file of your figures and rule breaks.

- Your own Anthropic account and API key, with a little credit. A Claude chat subscription does not include API access.
