M36B2 Tank Destroyer

The M36 Jackson “M36B2” is a variant of the WWII-era tank destroyer adapted with a diesel engine and, in many cases, upgraded for postwar service. Armed with a powerful 90mm gun, it was designed to engage heavily armored enemy tanks at range. Later users, including countries like France, modified the M36B2 with improvements such as better gun stabilization, upgraded optics, and in some cases additional roof armor or machine guns for improved survivability. Despite its age, the M36B2 remained effective in various conflicts due to its strong firepower and relatively simple design.
