Mike Curtis: „Seven Jazz and Ethnik Duos“ (Vle+Kb)

Sieben Stücke unterschiedlichen Charakters - von Blues über schnelle synkopische lateinamerikanische Rhythmen bis hin zu Klezmer und chinesisch anmutender Musik. Obwohl aus dem Bereich der Unterhaltungsmusik entnommen, sind sie doch mental wie auch technisch von hohem Anspruch.

Die Stücke liegen ebenfalls in Arrangements für Violoncello und Kontrabass vor und wurden auf der CD „cello bass duos - music by mike curtis“ eingespielt.

Seven pieces of varying character - from blues and fast syncopated Latin American rhythms to klezmer and Chinese-style music. Although taken from the field of light music, they are both mentally and technically demanding.

The pieces are also available in arrangements for cello and double bass and were recorded on the CD "cello bass duos - music by mike curtis".
