Perfect for the refreshing days of spring or transitional seasons, the Leaflet shawlette features a simple slipped-stitch garter pattern at its core and edges adorned with a subtle lace leaf motif.
While this pattern is designed to make the most of 1 skein, this shawlette can be made indefinity larger with more yarn. Just keep working the Main Repeat section until the project is nearing the desired size.
Materials:
1 skein Polka Dot Sheep Snow Ghost Sport, 65% baby alpaca and 35% merino wool, 300y/ 302m; 100g/ 3½ oz. Sample shown in Trego.
Tools:
US 4/ 3.5mm 32”/ 80cm circular knitting needle or size to achieve gauge, tapestry needle.
Gauge:
17 sts/ 45 rows over 4”/ 10cm in pattern, blocked.
Sizes:
One size, approximately 15½”/ 39.5cm deep and 48”/ 122cm long.
