"Iremia" is a greek word for quietness and intimacy, and that is the idea behind this series; to explore the softest end of the dynamic range of solo strings in detail, and record them very, very close to capture all the nuance and tiny imperfections in the sound that makes it so intimate and human.

These libraries features a vast selection of ultra soft sustains, moving textures and natural swells, all recorded both with and without mute - you can even crossfade between muted and non-muted. To make it as intimate as possible, we used three different close microphone perspectives, with the closest being a tiny omni mic floated inside the body of the instrument itself.

The Viola and Cello are identical in concept, articulations, mic perspectives and GUI, so they fit each other like a glove
