A drawing that has lived rent-free in my mind since 2008 — though it officially existed nowhere until now.

That was the year I first encountered the beauty of Barcelona and, of course, the Sagrada Familia — its most striking symbol.

In that moment, I realized one thing about the most beautiful parts of life: it’s essential to be who you truly are, and to carry with you the details.

And those details?

They might be the lines of architecture.

The light at a certain time of day.

Encounters, scents, glances.

These are the things that stay with us forever — the ones we take from every journey. Not in our suitcases, but within ourselves.

This illustration is an homage to that idea.

The girl, drawn in the spirit of Spain, wears large earrings — and in one of them rests the delicate silhouette of the Sagrada Familia.

Because every detail of it is still with me to this day.
