La perfezione dell’imperfezione

(The Perfection of Imperfection)

A drawing inspired by Italy — a country where beauty does not reside solely in perfection, but in character.

How else can we explain the philosophy of human existence… if not through the perfection of imperfection?

The Leaning Tower of Pisa was the starting point for this piece.

A tower that has stood for centuries at an unusual angle — different from all other buildings — and yet, people from all around the world come to see it, to admire it, to observe it from every angle.

The woman in this illustration carries that same Italian spirit.

Her face, with perfect proportions, symbolizes classic beauty — a beauty that has often been questioned in countless ways, out of the simple unawareness that it also lies within imperfection, and that it is perceived differently depending on the observer.

Her abundant, wavy hair represents the flows of life — and within those flows, we learn to embrace our own imperfections.

Not to become obsessed with the unattainable ideal of perfection… but to recognize beauty exactly where it already exists — with all its flaws, asymmetries, traces, layers, and stories.

This poster is part of the Faces and Traces of the World collection — a series of artworks dedicated to the power of memory, identity, and the details we carry within us.
