This sci-fi film tells the fictional story of a United Earth Federation soldier named Helena, who was stationed as a lone security detachment in one of the many fortifications built around Earth. Though of little strategic importance, these structures served as potential defensible positions in the event of any future skirmishes in the local area. Helena's job was security. She remained alone at the empty fortification, on a long shift of guard duty. Her commanding officer radios her, informing her of a potential intruder deeper within the structure. She goes to investigate – and the film continues from there.
