Requirements and fit

Use your own quotes, project assumptions and payment records. This edition displays USD and does not convert currencies. The offline HTML quick start opens in a modern browser. The workbooks require Microsoft Excel for Windows; verification used Excel version 16.0. Each purchase includes an eight-sheet clean template and a separate synthetic worked example. Other spreadsheet applications have not been verified.

Know the limits

All example amounts are fictional teaching inputs. The kit supplies no local construction prices, contractor recommendations, legal terms, tax determination or payment authorization. A comparison total is a planning figure, not a revised contractor quote.

Does it tell me which contractor to hire?

No. It exposes price and scope differences. Credentials, workmanship, references, insurance and contract decisions require your own review.

What if a quote leaves something out?

Record that exclusion explicitly. If you enter a gap estimate, it remains your estimate. An unclear “Not stated” item should remain incomplete until resolved.

Will it double-count an approved change?

The intended workflow allocates a change once through the milestone ledger. Change totals are a separate control, not an extra addition to commitments or paid cash.
