Description:
This is a pattern for a top down hat. You can make it as long as you wish, a short beanie or slouchy, maybe with a double brim or even triple folded brim.
Perfect project to use partly skein of yarn up to the last inch.

Skills:
You’ll need to know how to knit, purl, knit in the round with very small circumference, do lifted increases (LLI, RLI), and stretchy bind off

Size: XS - S - M - L, that approximately Small child - Child - Woman - Man

Materials:
Yarn: between 120 yds (109 m) and 170 yds (155 m) of worsted weight yarn depending on the size and length of the hat
Needles: Size US 8 (5 mm) set of double pointed needles and circular needles length 16” (40 cm) or 32”-40” (80-100 cm) circular for magic loop method.
Notions: tapestry needle, marker

Gauge:
20 sts and 23 rounds = 4” (10 cm) in seed stitch stripes in the round slightly stretched
If you prefer a more dense knit fabric, you can choose smaller needles and go up to 1 size to cast on your project.
