Description:
The Stratus collection includes two patterns, Stratus Fingerless Mitts and Stratus Headband.
The headband uses a broken rib pattern and is very easy to make.
Fingerless mittens have broken rib stitch on the backside of a hand, and the rest of the pattern includes 2x2 ribbing and stockinette stitch.
Skills:
For the headband only how to do knit and purl stitches.
For the mitts, you’ll need to know how to knit in a round. The pattern doesn’t specify how to divide sts between needles for knitting in the round. You’ll choose your preferable needles (4 dpns, 5 dpns or circular) and dived sts as you usually do for this type of knitting.
The pattern use Right (RLI) and Left (LLI) lifted increases. You can easily find video tutorials on Youtube or use other types of increases like Kfb, or M1R/M1L.
