The Garterline Bonnet is crocheted seamlessly, mimicking classic knit textures. The construction begins with a skinny scarf and is built upward into a shaped bonnet using front- and back-loop slip stitch techniques, short-row crown shaping, and a crochet i-cord edging for a polished finish. Made with bulky weight yarn, this cozy bonnet works up quickly while creating the look of classic garter stitch knitting... all with crochet.

Written in standard American crochet terms (with UK conversion), this pattern includes detailed row‑by‑row instructions, diagrams, and photos for the trickier sections.
