The Meeting After Midnight: A Recovery Novel

This is a work of fiction. The town of Parker's Falls does not exist, and neither do Ray, Walt, or any of the rest of them. But the meeting does. In every town in America there is a room with bad coffee and folding chairs where people tell the truth at midnight, and this book is for them. Ray walks in because he has nowhere else to go. Walt has been coming for years and still is not sure why. Over 51 chapters, their stories cross in the room where the real work gets done — the apologies, the slips, the small victories nobody sees. A novel of addiction and return, told straight and without varnish. For anyone who has sat in those chairs, or wondered what happens in them. If you are in trouble: you are not too late. Turn the page. I will walk with you. You do not have to believe anything to sit down in these pages. You just have to be willing to stay until the coffee is gone.
