Negative Self-Talk Tracker: CBT Thought Record Exercise
This negative self-talk tracker is adapted from the CBT exercise of creating a thought record, and challenging thoughts. When working with the inner critic, it can be imperative to challenge, and restructure the thoughts that the inner critic part of you has you believing. This activity helps you identify negative thoughts, challenge them, and create more adaptive, loving, gentle, and kind thoughts to replace your negative thinking patterns with over time.
