Your name, your story

In this lesson, students will discuss the importance of name pronunciation and its relationship with identity and culture. They will listen for gist and for detail. Students will focus on some features of Indian English and work on some contextualized lexis. By the end of the lesson, students will choose a follow-up task according to their interests and needs (speaking, writing, listening, reading).

You will get the Student's worksheet and detailed Teacher's notes, full of suggestions to make the lesson more/less challenging and the answer key.
