Communication between Departments

In this lesson students will talk about communication in the workplace. They will express their own experiences and feelings about the topic. They will also make some predictions before watching a video by suggesting their own tips to improve interdepartmental communication.

While watching, students will work on gist and detail, they can also work on connected speech.

After watching, students will express opinions and reactions towards the video and the topic while relating it to their pwn business contexts.

In terms of lexis, students will use some contextualized chunks from the video to discuss engaging questions.

By the end of the lesson, students will choose a communicative task to use the lexis and language in context.
