I Know You So Much

Jean has a crush on Charles. Like, one of those crushes that makes you notice the small things about the other person. They even start to stare. (How embarrassing.) A late night encounter at the grocery store forces Jean to push their pining to the side and let Charles open up about the truths that he keeps hidden. Poetry was sometimes beautiful if it came from something ugly.
