Failsafe Constraint

About:

This is a world constraint asset designed for those who rely on placeable world constraints to play complex animations. It's designed to allow the user to place the constraint and play their animations without forcing the audience to look at the user's avatar while the constraint is being placed, ensuring maximum accuracy and consistency.

Features:

• Toggle to lock the constraint where you're currently standing and facing
• Radial to change the scale of the failsafe to ensure your audience is forced to render your avatar no matter where they are looking.

Dependencies:

• VRChat Avatar SDK 3.7.0 or newer (I used 3.10.3)
• LWGUI 1.16.0 (included)
• Latest version of VRCFury (I used version 1.1335)

Install Instructions:

1. Drag the "FAILSAFE CONSTRAINT" prefab into your scene, then onto the root of your avatar.
2. Right click > Prefab > Unpack Completely
3. Drag the "RESET TARGET" GameObject onto the root of your avatar.

• Make sure the position is set to (0, 0, 0) once it's in place.

That's it! Everything else is applied on upload. Note that he "DELETEME" object indicates where your stuff goes within the constraint, so go ahead and replace that with whatever it is you're cooking up!

"Locked In" Modification:

If you want to automatically place the constraint at a predetermined transform, you can keep the RESET TARGET inside the constraint and set its transform to wherever you desire. You don't even need to place the constraint in-game, it'll automatically lock into place!
