I describe myself as a "game thinker". I look at daily interactions between people as games and aim to make them more fun, fair, and engaging. 

With my company Playspace, I help organizations reimagine the rules of their game. This is always a participatory process in which players are inspired to apply the best ideas from games in order to redesign the game of living, learning, and working together. 

I have 10+ years of experience as a game thinking consultant with of hands-on experience in applied game design, while also researching and teaching gamification at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.

My biggest passion is to create card-based tools that make it simple to deal with complex problems.
