Carrie the Limping Lion

'Carrie the Limping Lion' is a short children's poem about a lion cub who suffers from chronic pain in her knees. The poem was written with the hope that kids with chronic pain might be better understood by their peers. It is aimed at children ages 3 - 8, and finishes with a short information section about hidden illnesses and pain. Each stanza features a beautiful illustration by Francois Swart.
