Road Trip Legwarmers

On a recent road trip, I wanted to knit something uncomplicated in a fun, stripy yarn during some of the hours I was a passenger. I designed these legwarmers to be simple enough to show off the beautiful colours and stripes in the yarn. They are also easy to knit in the dark, a situation I often found myself in!

This pattern is dedicated to all knitters who will take to the road, needles in hand, to visit far-flung places and those closer to home. I hope you enjoy knitting these legwarmers as much as I did.

Note: this pattern is offered in one size only. They fit a 13.25-inch (34.25cm) circumference calf with some ease. The length from cuff to cuff is about 15 inches (38cm)

Yarn:
100g of Knit Picks Felici, shown in Blackberry Jam.
Yardage note: the full yardage of both skeins was used to create the sample pair. When substituting yarn, make sure to check if you will have enough yardage. If you are concerned about running out of yarn, please buy extra.

Photographed at Natural Bridges National Monument, Utah
