Flashcard Jump Interactive Activity

For children, interactive and imitation-based flashcards can be both educational and fun, encouraging active learning and engagement. These diverse sets of flashcards would cover a range of subjects and could stimulate curiosity in various topics in science, math, language, colours, numbers, shapes, or objects.

How to Play: 

• Lay out the flashcards randomly on the floor in a path or circle
• Play music and have the children walk or dance around the cards
• When the music stops, each child must identify or imitate the flashcard they are closest to on the card.
• Restart the music and continue the game, allowing children to engage with different flashcards each round
• Provide support and encouragement as needed, especially for children who might be struggling with identification or imitation.
