Kindergarten Assessments EDITABLE | ELA and Math
This resource is a great addition to any kinder/primary education program. It is set up to allow you to keep the same page and track growth and progress throughout the year. I use a different colored pen each time to create a visual of growth and learning. This is also a great way to show parents progress during conferences.
Included in this resource are:
Entry Pages where you can enter your own letters, sight words, and numbers or use the ones that I have provided from my kinder classroom.
- Alphabet Entry
- Sight Word Entry - 60 Words
- Sight Word Entry - 100 Words
- Number Entry 0-20
Student Sheets
- Letter and Sound Assessment
- Sight Word Assessment - 60 Words
- Sight Word Assessment - 100 Words
- Number Recognition Assessment 0-20
Recording Sheets
- Letter and Sound Assessment
- Sight Word Assessment - 60 Words
- Sight Word Assessment - 100 Words
- Number Recognition Assessment 0-20
- Rote Counting Assessment - Count by ones and tens to 100
I assess at least once per month. Each recording sheet has 15 spaces for dates and scores. I keep the student sheets/masters in a binder with sheet protectors so it is easy to grab whenever I am ready to assess. Each student also has their own binder with recording sheets that are saved and used throughout the year.
Start at the first few pages and enter your letters, sight words, and numbers in the order that you teach or plan to assess. If you use the TAB button on your keyboard, it will bring you to the next cell down the list to enter your information. Those letters, sight words and numbers that you enter will auto-generate into the corresponding pages in the document.
Some student and recording sheets have multiple page options to accommodate varying classroom needs.
Thank you for considering adding this resource to your teacher toolkit!
With hustle and heart,
Chrissy
