Female Pose Reference Pack: 40 Printable Figure Templates + 6 Drawing Guides
Forty printable female pose templates to trace, copy and draw from, plus six guide pages that explain how a pose works. Every figure is clothed and drawn in clean, light pencil outlines, with women of different ages, shapes and hairstyles, so you can practise drawing real people rather than one idealised figure.
WHAT'S INSIDE
40 pose templates in six groups, each on its own page:
Standing (8): front, three-quarter, side and back views, contrapposto, hands on hips, arms crossed, and a hand in her hair
Sitting (7): upright on a chair, leaning back, cross-legged on the floor, side-saddle on the floor, hugging her knees, perched on a stool, and legs crossed on a chair
Movement (8): walking, walking in three-quarter view, running, jumping, a dance arabesque, a twirl, stretching up, and reaching
Kneeling, lying and crouching (6): kneeling upright, sitting back on the heels, reclining on one elbow, lying on the front, crouching, and a lunge
Everyday moments (6): holding a mug, reading, carrying a bag, looking over the shoulder, leaning on a wall, and a wind-blown dress
Showpieces (5): a flowing dress twirl, seated with drapery, a dancer's leap, hair in the wind, and a two-figure dance

YOU WILL RECEIVE 4 FILES
Female Pose Reference Pack (PDF, A4): 49 pages (cover, contents, the 40 templates, the 6 guides and a thank-you page)
Female Pose Reference Pack (PDF, US Letter): the same 49 pages sized for US Letter paper
PNG files, part 1 of 2 (ZIP): templates 1 to 23 as separate high-resolution PNGs
PNG files, part 2 of 2 (ZIP): templates 24 to 40 and the 6 guide pages as separate high-resolution PNGs
The pages are line drawings. The coloured twirl in the photos is an example of what you could do with a template; it isn't a page in the pack.
HOW TO USE
Print at 100% ("actual size"). Trace a pose to feel how it flows, prop it beside your sketchbook and copy it by eye, or study it for a minute and draw it from memory. In Procreate or any drawing app, import a PNG as a layer, lower its opacity and draw on a new layer above it.
If you've downloaded my free female pose reference pages, this is the full pack: 40 poses and 6 guides.

Personal use and small handmade crafts are both welcome. Please don't resell or share the files themselves.
