Practice mixed exponent rules with this Google Slides digital puzzle activity. Students simplify expressions using the power rule, product rule, quotient rule, negative exponent rule, and zero exponent rule.

This activity includes 16 exponent rule problems. Students solve each problem, match it to the correct answer, and move the digital pieces into the correct spots on the 4 x 4 grid. The puzzle format works well for independent practice, partner work, math centers, review, or distance learning.

The digital format is a great option for adding technology to your classroom and can be used on a laptop, PC, tablet, or phone with access to a free Google account.

Please note: Teachers and students will need a free Google account to access and use this Google Form activity. A sign-up link is included in the document if needed.

Teacher directions with pictures are included to help you access and assign the Google Slides activity. Please note that the slides are not editable and are set to “Can View” only.

A printable option is also included in the Google Slides link. Students can print the activity and complete the puzzle by cutting and pasting the pieces instead of using the movable digital pieces.
