A sweet and simple tool to record your 'Glimmers'✨🤩

Glimmers are 'tiny micro-moments of joy' that allow us to happy, hopeful and safe.

✨They bring a sense of connection and regulation to the body, cue-ing the nervous system to move into the parasympathetic state which allows us to feel calm and open.

Glimmers are experiences of pleasure that naturally occur as we are present to the spontaneity of life. Hint: It's up to us to take notice.🤗😄

A glimmer moment may be felt as you watch the sun rise or set, as you notice a wildflower gently swaying in the breeze ~ as you catch the soft glow of a full moon, or in listening to the summer rain.

Use this Glimmer Glossary as a special way to track the subtle cues - internal and external that evoke in you, feelings of joy, safety, and connection.

  • Glimmers were coined by Deb Dana in 2018 in her book The Polyvagal Theory in Therapy, arising from her work with Behavioral Scientist Stephen Porges.
