30 one page plays. 15 three page plays. 6 ten minute plays. One playwright.

In April 2013, the Kenyon Playwrights Conference accepted Cassandra Rose into their inaugural program. To raise money for tuition, Cassandra created an indiegogo campaign writing random plays based on random words found on random pages that people chose out of the Random House Webster’s Dictionary. Now, all 51 plays are available in one book. 

Cassandra Rose writes plays, reads plays, dramaturgs plays, and sometimes even produces plays. Originally from Rockford, IL she's proud to call Chicago her new home. She has worked with such companies as Chicago Dramatists, Victory Gardens, Redtwist Theatre, Steep Theatre, and Jackalope Theatre in one way or another. She is a founding member and  Artistic Director of Cold Basement Dramatics, which is dedicated to producing plays about the things we hide from ourselves and others. She hopes to return to the Kenyon Playwrights Conference as soon as possible.
