"The Maypole Green" For Flute Choir

The Maypole Green is a short concert piece of around 2 mins 50. Arranged for 4 C flutes, Alto and Bass.

It is in ternary form in concert F with the middle section in B flat.

The maypole by tradition is a tall wooden pole erected as a part of various European folk festivals, around which a maypole dance often takes place, generally early May but can be midsummer- it is a very merry dance!
