This piece introduces technique
for producing images of graceful,
spinning dance:
9/8 and 6/8 timing and phrasing,
repetition,
legato,
free use of pedal,
crescendo and decrescendo,
ritardando.

These techniques can be used
by the performer
to help the listener "hear"
a graceful, spinning dancer
like in ballet or twirling.
