Soil Nail CAD Drawing

Soil nailing is a reinforcement techniques primarily used for cut slopes. It is consist of inserting long rods into undisturbed natural soil to stabilized the soil mass. 

Diameter of the soil nails typically from 16mm to 32mm of high yield steel bars.The length stands at 6m to 24m at spacings about 1m to 2m.

The typical design loads ranges from 50 to 200kN. Engineers need to exercise their design practice accordingly in order to determine the spacings, bars diameter and the length of the soil nail.
